The importance of storytellers has always been and continues to be so important in moving our society forward. Today on the podcast Cheryl Weber is joined by Val Lieske. Val is the founder and Artistic Director of Fire Exit Theatre as well as the Associate Director of the Theatre Program at Ambrose University. She shares on the importance in keeping a place for creative people within the faith community as theatre programs and dance classes are often programs that are the first to get cancelled within faith communities. She shares on how jobs within the arts are so worthwhile and how if we want to impact society with the story of the gospel we need to be in these creative places, as media speaks into society so strongly.
